A great deal of my time these days is spent engaging with the very ordinary and mundane. So much so that I sometimes feel like I am just walking the same circle over and over.
I walk the same path, morning after morning to drop off the girls at school and kindy then again to pick them up in the afternoons. We walk the same route along the same footpaths, past the same houses, often seeing the same people and animals along the way.
We greet each other like old friends now.
With each footfall I wonder what mark we leave behind. Is it good or bad? Will it last? Does it matter?
Is it enough simply to be present in this circle?
A moving particle in the flawed beauty of this moment.
